Calling All Gray Kitty Fans!

Gray_Cats_BigCar_1

I know we've got a lot of gray kitty fans in the crowd (like Dan N, for example) so we put together a little gray kitty pack of postcards and they're now listed in the IBKC Shop!

Featured in this set are a floofy Langston Von Tussle, wide-eyed Lucille Plunkett, itty-bitty Hazel Swift,  a very plush Thelma Lyttelton, Fielding Mittenfloss with his corduroy cheeks, and very velvety Forrest and Pearl Mae Petrie!

If gray kitties make you weak, this set is for you!

The postcards are a nicely weighted stock with rounded corners and a lovely satin matte finish. On the back of the card there's a tiny photo of the featured kitten and their name too, so you know who is who. They're sold in a set of six cards (one of each design) and you can purchase them with or without envelopes.

We always offer a little bonus whenever we launch new design, so while supplies last, we'll be giving away a "Kisses the Kitten" postcard with each pack cards that your purchase.

We've also added more Sparkle Balls in the shop! We've restocked our usual color packs, added some Jumbo Packs of Sparkle Balls, and just in time for Saint Patrick's Day, we've listed some green and gold Charlene O'Butterbean Sparkle Balls for Lucky Cats and Kittens. We've got a very limited supply of the St Patty's day packs,  so please act fast if you want to pick some up for your cats!

A Langston Von Tussle Update!

I spied some super cute photos of Langston Von Tussle on his mother's Facebook wall yesterday, so  I asked Keryn if she would mind if I shard them with you.

Here they are!

Langston

Langston

He sure is handsome, isn't he?  He was such a lovely as a kitten, so of course he grew to be a striking young man.

Keryn says he's a super happy and very playful kitty.  He is very vocal, and chirps when he gets excited.  He enjoys lounging on his kitty scratcher sofa.

Langston loves to snuggle under the covers, which comes as no surprise, because when was a tiny thing, he always enjoyed burrowing under the blankets.

When he first moved in,  Lady Katherine wasn't quite sure what to think of him, but things are great now. She had always been the only kitty in the house, so it was a big adjustment for her at first.  Now, he has much admiration and affection for his beautiful sister.

Lady Katherine

Thank so much for letting me share these photos of your beautiful cats, Keryn!  Please give them both some love from all of us!

So Long, Langston

Langston was the first to leave. He was also the first kitten picked.  I had promised Keryn, who is the niece of a dear friend of mine, the first pick of the Von Tussle litter.  She was looking for a sweet kitty friend for Lady Katherine, her very floofy Tabby Point.

As soon as the Von Tussles were ready for meet and greets, she came over with boyfriend John, and they spent a good hour meeting the kittens.   All of the kittens were charming and adorable, and they left that night with tough decision to make.

Claudette and Langston were the top contenders,  and after a couple of days of thinking on the subject, they decided that Langston, who was a little more reserved than the rest, would be the best pick for Lady Katherine.  I was happy they selected Langston. When they described Lady K's personality, he seemed to be the best match for her.

Langston is doing very well in his new home. He was comfortable from the start, and was eager to share snuggles and purrs with his new parents.  They're pretty thrilled to have him there.

Lady Katherine is still adjusting to this idea of a new baby brother, but things are progressing, and with each day there's been improvement.  She's been an only cat for four years, so this is a big change for her.

Langston is such an easy fellow and poses no threat.  He always loved the attention and affection he got from  Charlene, and I'm sure once Lady K is ready to give it, he'll be happy to receive it.   We're all confident that they'll be BFFs in time.

Have a good life, dear boy.  We're missing you, but so happy you landed a lovely home.

No More Mr Shy Guy

Langston was the shy boy in the bunch when the Von Tussles first moved in.  He was a little nervous then, and it didn't take much to send him scurrying.  He was sweet though, you just had to catch him first to give and receive a little love.

During his time here, he's made tremendous progress, and now he is a very calm and confident fellow.    He's easy and relaxed, and rarely startles.  He seeks snuggles,  and is generous with his purrs.

We knew he had all of this in him, we just had to wait a little for him to show it.

Thanks for showing us who you are, Langston.  You're fabulous.
