Here's the precious lad in his very early days with us.

And here he is today! SO HANDSOME, isn't he??!!!
Here's what Susan, his mama, had to say about the boy...
As you can see, Cecil has grown quite the mane along with lots of furry hair. He reminds us a bit of a lion although he's more the cowardly lion than the brave one. He would like you to think he could take on anything or anyone, but the sight of the vacuum cleaner sends him under the nearest bed. He is obsessed with my yarn and knitting needles and, although I use quiet, wooden needles, he can hear them a mile away and comes running. He can chew a piece of yarn in half faster than he can eat a kitty snack. Consequently, my production has gone down immensely and I've become a closet knitter!
He and Tuna do their fair share of chasing and rolling around but it's all in the spirit of play. They are never far from each other and despite the fact that we have kitty beds everywhere, they spend their days napping together in the same chair. Cecil is a gem. He's gentle (once he learned how to control his claws!), cuddly, very busy and pretty much in charge of the house. Thank you for raising such lovely kittens. They are lucky to have you and we are all lucky to benefit from your kindness and great training.
Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Susan! And thank you for the kind words. We're so happy he's with you!
It's been fun seeing all these IBKs again, hasn't it? I'm hoping that by seeing all of their "happily ever afters", you might feel inspired to give to the shelter that put them on the road towards their forever homes. By donating, we are providing the Humane Society with the resources to help more cats in more ways.

Thank you!
