Nearing the End of the Batsel Chapter

Well, friends.  We're nearing the end of the Batsel chapter.   This week, all the babes had their itty bitty bits removed.   Two of the Batsels have found their homes and we're getting close to finding a place for the others.   So soon, we'll be waving bye-bye to all the Batsels.  

I know it seems so soon but when they moved in, there wasn't too much growing left to do.      

It sure has been nice getting to know this floofy little bunch.  I'm grateful for every minute I've had with them.   I hope you feel the same.

I never noticed this until just now, but check out those horizontal whiskers just off of Claudius'  eyes.   He's got a built-in balancing bar!



So, maybe these Batsels do come from a line of aerialists and acrobats. That would explain so much.

The Batsel Children

Now that all the Batsel Children have been assigned their names, let's take a good look at them side-by-side.


From left to right:
Claudius Felix, Clifford, Barnum Bailey and Priscilla Batsel.

Such a beautiful little family.  They're super sweet, floppy and affectionate too!  

Now that we've have the fundraiser behind us, I look forward to spending a little bit more time with them and getting to know them a little bit better.   Just a few days to go before we spring them from quarantine, too!   Bean's going to love them - floofy tabbies have always been her favorite flavor!

Little Gray Guy Has a Name!

After serious consideration, and with a little help from her mom, Elizabeth, our auction winner, has decided that the name of this handsome boy is Claudius Felix Batsel. 

Once again, a perfect selection.   It suits him so well.  

Thank you Elizabeth for your generous bid!   And thank you for picking a perfect name.    

PS Speaking of perfection, isn't his little charcoal nose the best?  It kills me.
