I don't think I could of split up these two. I don't think they would of let me. No need to worry about that because our little twinsies got scooped up by the nicest, kitty loving couple! She works days, he works nights so these kittens will always have company! How perfect is that!!! Lucky couple, lucky kittens!!

Hooray for Pia and Gia!!

Pia Wants to Share Something With You

DSC_0279

I don't think you've seen this yet, but our little Pia has the sweetest little marking on her tail. About a half inch from it's tip, there's a little white band. It's a marvelous tail. I might even go as far to say it makes my "top five best kitten tails" list. And I've seen a LOT of kitten tails in my day.

She's very proud of her tail and loves swishing it about.

What makes this tail truly amazing is that when she gets all excited, and her tail gets big, the little white hairs stand up a little taller than the black hairs do and a tiny white wiry donut appears. It's fabulous

Making Friends

DSC_0154

The Lytteltons had a few visitors this weekend. My friend Saya, whom you've all met before, came down with nieces Emi and Abby and their friend Holly to meet the kittens.

These social little kittens had no time for formal introductions, they just wanted to climb right into their laps and arms for some loving.

They are so amazing that way - such a loving, trusting bunch of babies - and they really have been that way from the start. When I first brought them home, within moments of exiting their carrier, they were purr, purr, purring and climbing all over us.

A Whole Lot of Lytteltons

Now that you've met all the little ones,,, here are a few shots of the family unit.

They are a close knit bunch, and are all usually within arms distance of each other. They're very people oriented too, and are happy to meet anyone who comes into their room. They are just friendly little beings.

We've still got a week of quarantine left, which won't come soon enough for this brood. They are already screaming at the door to get out. It's nearly impossible to get through the door without one (or six) dashing out.

Last time we had such a large litter was the Pettibones. It certainly means more kitten dishes to wash and poop to scoop, but they're worth it. They really are a lovely little group - each is so sweet and friendly and of course, adorable. It's such a pleasure getting to know them!

And Now, the Tuxie Twins

DSC_0165
You saw them earlier this week, but now it's time for formal introductions. Meet Pia and Gia Lyttelton. Pia is on the left, Gia on the right. It's easy to tell them apart, Pia has a white streak on her forehead.

They're the tiniest in the litter, but both are packed full of spunk.
