A big thanks to all the families of these former IBKs for sharing photos of your babes all grown up. It's so nice seeing all these happy, healthy faces again!

I'm hoping that after seeing so many of these awesome IBKC success stories, you might feel inspired to pay a visit to our FUNdrasing page, and make a little donation to help other awesome kittens find awesome families.  Every little bit helps! Every little bit is appreciated!

I've got a few more alumni updates to share, and if I don't get them up today, I'll sprinkle them in next week.

More pictures of Eric and Eleanor (formerly Kirby and Freddie Jean Medley) from their mom, Angela!

OK,,, all together now....  AWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Another Alumni Update!

Angela, mom to our former fosters,  Kirby and Freddie Jean Medley (now Eric and Eleanor) , sent us this little update.

On the left, a picture of the wee ones when the first moved in with Angela and Paul.  On the right, same kitties, same tower, months later.

And here's what Angela had to say...

Just wanted to swing by and give you a super quick update and a picture. Eric and Eleanor love the Christmas tree...a little too much. They are growing fast, love to carry things in their mouth all around their house (including a package of via coffee that mysteriously disappeared from the kitchen), and they love to play chase. They still think they can fit on their tower together but as you can see by the picture they look ridiculous! Haha.

Thanks so much for the update, Angela!    It's so good to see these happy, healthy kittens again!

MORE Updates!

I just got a little update from Ms Freddie Jean and Kirby's mom, Angela. She sent LOTS of pictures, and I know you're going to love them!

It sounds like they're doing really well, and have already captured the hearts of their new parents. Nice work kittens!!

Here's what Angela had to say:

We are loving watching them grow. They love to run around like crazy kittens for an hour then Eric (formerly Kirby) will start meowing for us and Eleanor (Freddie Jean) will be tagging right behind. They cuddle up and sleep together. In the time we have had them home we have only seen them sleep separately once. :)

Eleanor loves to clean Eric daily, especially his ears. :) He puts up with it all. Eleanor is the tag along, Eric meows if she isn't following. They love each other. :) They also think they are cute when they start chasing each others tails and wrestling at 5am in the middle of our bed. (We don't think it is quite as cute, haha). :)

We love them so much, and they are more than we could have ever imagined.

Thank you so much, Angela, for sharing all of this with us. And thank you too for adopting this lovely little pair. It's clear they are so happy with you and Paul. It's a thrill to know they're bringing you so much joy!

More Good-Byes

DSC_0064

From the very start, Freddie Jean and Kirby have been close. So, when Freddie Jean and Kirby were picked to go together, we were thrilled.

Their new parents are a very sweet newly-wedded couple named Angela and Paul.

For a long time, from the other side of our fine state, Angela had been following the IBKC.

Recently, they moved into IBKC territory, and just happened to be in the market for a pair of kittens to add to their new life together. So naturally, they gave us a call.

After seeing all the Medleys online, Freddie Jean and Kirby grabbed the attention of Angela and Paul. And when they met them in person, they knew this pair was meant to be theirs.

It was clear to us too. The kittens were charming, and Angela and Paul were charmed. It was wonderful to witness.

I got a message from Angela, and everyone's doing great. They absolutely LOVE the kittens. I've seen a few pictures, and the kittens look as happy as can be. So do Angela and Paul!

Yay for the happy little family!

I know it's not the greatest photo in the world, but it was a very funny moment, so I had to share it with you.

Booty or Belly?

I'm tried to decide what's cuter - Kirby's booty or his belly. Or maybe his little striped orange union suit.

DSC_0021

I think it's the belly.

Over, Under.

I do believe these kittens have woven themselves into a little Tabby tapestry.

It's a Tabestry!

Kirby Medley: Asleep at the Wheel

The Medleys all went in for a little check-up today. I guess the whole experience was just exhausting because just a minutes after we returned, I peeked in on the kittens and discovered this little scene.

It reminded me of another sleepy orange kitten we once knew. Remember Rhoda?

Ladies First, and Now the Boys...

SO now you've been formally introduced to all the ladies, let's move on to the boys.

First up, Mr Kirby Nesbitt Medley.

DSC_0002

Hello Dreamboat.

Little Kirby was the shy guy in the bunch. WAS. That lasted barely 24 hours.

Now, he loves to be scooped up and cuddled. Put him down, and he'll let out a very demanding kitten peep.

He insists you love him.

OK, OK, OK,,, I give. I love you Kirby Nesbitt Medley.
