Ve Ching was not short on suitors, but for one reason or another, things were just not panning out. There were appointment cancelations, cold feet, and no-shows for meet and greets. FINALLY I got a very promising email from a gal named Megan, who had fallen in love with Ve Ching, and thought she might be a good fit for her family.
Megan came over for a visit yesterday with her children and sister too, and yep, perfect fit. Miss V was very curious about the kids, and enjoyed playing with them. Elliot, Megan's five year old son was sweet and gentle with V. You could tell he and his mother had at least a few conversations about how to handle and play a little kitten. He was so good with her.
Oh, and when Charlene entered the room he said "That's a whole lot of cat". No argument there.
Megan is a stay at home mom, so Miss Ve will have constant companionship. She'll also have the kids to keep her entertained.
So it took awhile for V's family to find their way to us, but I think it was worth the wait, and there was a reason why all those other folks weren't working out.
I got an email yesterday afternoon from Megan, and she said Miss V was doing great. She had exhausted herself exploring and playing. You'll be happy to know, Megan promises to send pictures.
We certainly enjoyed our time with Miss V, but so happy she found her perfect family.
Charlene enjoyed her too, but all that babysitting wore Miss Bean out, and I think she's ready to catch up on some napping.
Here are a few pictures, and a video too, of Miss B's last day with Miss V.
