YES! I know you've all been anxious for updates on our IBKC graduates, The Mayfields, and today I have pictures of ALL of them ! We'll start with this gorgeous photo of Fergus. (You can tell his mom is a professional photographer.) I love how tall and lanky he's looking, even while wearing horizontal stripes!

Here we have dear, sweet Auggie and LeRoy ( now known as Howie and Baker). It sounds like they are happy and comfortable in their new home and getting lots of love.

And finally, Porter and Clementine. He's still a cry baby,, she's still a wild child,, and they are both still adorable. Here's a blurb from an email from their mom.
oh mannnn!! Porter is just a cry-er!!! cries before we feed him, while we are trying to get his food to him, after eating, while we are eating, if he is left behind in a room alone, as soon as we walk in the door :) He is wonderful though, very loving!!!

Clementine is nuts!!!!!!!! jumps on everything, pounces everything (especially Porter), bites anything she can get in her mouth, broke our blinds, 3 light bulbs in one of our lamps... but she is very sweet when she is ready to nap!

We are loving them and very happy to have them in our lives!

It's so nice to see everyone is doing so well. Thanks to all the parents for sharing their pictures with us !

Farewell Auggie,, Farewell LeRoy

This weekend Auggie and LeRoy officially left the nest. Kim, Sue, Craig and I were all there to say goodbye to the boys. While Kim and their new dad filled out the paperwork, I got to have one last love-fest with LeRoy. I will never say I favor one kitten over the next, but out of all the kittens in the batch, I felt more love from LeRoy. I was happy to have our final moments with him cuddled up in my arms.

Auggie perched himself on his new mama's lap and had a little snooze. It was so sweet to see how comfortable he was with her already.

After the paperwork was complete, we took a few photos of the new family, then passed the kittens around and said our goodbyes.

We are so happy they went together and to such a wonderful, loving home. They are going to be assigned new names. LeRoy will become Howie and Auggie will become Baker. They promised to send us lots of pictures and updates.

So now there are three Mayfields left. Fergus and Porter go in for surgery on Thursday. Fergus will be leaving us this weekend. Clementine is scheduled for surgery on Monday. She had a little bug and has been on antibiotics this week, so we have to make sure she's 100% before she goes in, but things are looking really good. If all goes well, Clementine and Porter be nestled into their new home by the end of next week, and we will be kitten-free.

AND yes, there will be more kittens. Kitten season is just getting started. We may take a few days off between batches, but there will be more.

Rest Up Auggie, You too LeRoy, You've Got a Big Day Ahead..

Well, four out of five Mayfields have made weight, which means it's time to have their itty bitty bits removed. Auggie and LeRoy are going into Met Vet for their surgery today. They will have a couple days to recover, then their new parents will be picking them up.

That's right folks.. Auggie and LeRoy will be staying together. We're thrilled, of course. It's always better when they go in pairs and Auggie and LeRoy are very close.

So now EVERYONE has a home and they all will be departing shortly.

Can you believe it ??? It really does seem like they just got here!
