The Furmans are obsessed with the bathroom. In fact it's nearly imposible to slip into the bathroom without a kitten entourage following closely behind. If you do manage to make it in alone, they're crying from the other side of the door.
They can easily spend the better part of the day playing in there. They'll wrestle on the edge of the tub between the shower curtain and liner. They'll knock bottles into the tub, and roll them around. They'll sit and catch drips from our leaky tub faucet.
The sink is the best. If you turn it on to a slow drizzle, everyone will gather round, taking drinks and take turns batting at the stream with their paws.
Oliver is captivated by the running water. After all the others have lost interest and move on, he'll keep playing.
And speaking of Oliver, yes, he found his family!
The kittens have an appointment for a round of vaccines this afternoon, and after we return, Oliver will be packing his suitcase and we'll say goodbye. I'll give the full report after he leaves, but you'll be happy to know he won't be an only kitten, and we've met his family before! Any guesses?
The rest of the gang will be leaving over the next couple of weekends, so our time is limited with the fabulous Furman Five!
They're all getting big, and they are ready to get started on their new lives.
As always, we'll miss them, of course. But it's time.
