Tiny Tabby Boy Has a Name!

DSC_0574

Our friend, Marianne, who joined us last year for Tea with Bean, was the high-bidder on the naming rights auction for our Tiny Tabby boy.

And what did she decide to call this adorable boy?

Nicholas Cassidy Dinichi.

She selected the "Nicholas" because with his sweet face and white fur around his month, he looks like a tiny Santa Claus.  "Cassidy" is in memory of her cat, Cassie, who sadly passed away just yesterday. She was a special girl who started off as a foster kitten too, then grew up to rule the house.

We're so sorry for your loss, Marianne, I know how much you love all of your kitties, so I'm sure there's some deep sadness in your heart right now. I'm glad a little piece of her will live on in our little guy.

Thank you so much for thinking of other cats and kittens and giving so generously during a time, I'm sure, was very difficult for you.

Your heart is huge for the cats, and we appreciate you.

Hugs to you from this whole community.

  2. That is a wonderful name! And he does look like Santa- how could I not have seen that? And may he be as loved as his namesake has been. Hugs to Marianne- may these little kittens help ease your grief and make your heart lighter.

I'm partial to the tabby boys but this one's a real cutie-pie. (Don't tell LG I said that.)
