But Wait, There's More!

our little old lady cat asleep on the deck

First, let me start off by saying thank you to all of you who stepped forward and donated to help our precious Senior Cats. And, of course, one giant thank you to Cynthia, who made this match possible. I do love how we love our Seniors.  TEN SQUILLION (so far) is just amazing!

It's often a sad story that brings them to our shelter.  It makes my heart feel so good knowing what we contribute helps turn their situation around, and allows them to live their last years all healthy and happy!

This is always a big day for us, as your generosity has already illustrated, and that's why we're putting another match on the table this evening.  Don't worry, it's completely doable!  Our friend Denise is offering up a generous $500 match!  Until 8:00 AM  (Pacific Time) tomorrow morning, every dollar we donate will be matched by Denise until we reach the $500 cap. Hopefully (I know we will) we will max it out and $500 will turn into $1000!

SO, before you tuck yourself and your kitties in for the night,  or after you have your coffee in the morning, please consider the Seniors and make a donation.  I wouldn't ask if I didn't think we had it in us. In previous years, we've always brought in a squillion or two on Senior Day after we met our big matching donation challenge.  We can reach $500 this, I am sure!

If you're in the position to give, every bit helps -- if it's a wee amount, a morsel, or even more -- it makes a difference in the life of a cat.  If you're not, that's fine. We love you and understand.

Thanks for an awesome day. I hope you're feeling proud -- you should be! WELL DONE!

Please visit our FUNdriasing page and make a tax-deductible donation if you would like to help the Seniors out!

  1. I just donated and my company does donation matching. On the First Giving receipt (that you include with the gift matching paperwork), the address for The Humane Society of T&P County does not include the state or zip code. I've looked it up to ensure the paperwork is complete but if you have any control over this, it would be beneficial to other donors to have this included on the First Giving receipt. >^..^<

  2. You know, I wish I had the blessings to take care of ALL of the homeless, lost, forgotten 4 legged babies! I pray that one day, the good Lord in Heaven, will allow me financial blessings to help animals, & human brethren with shelter, LOVE, food, & simple respect :-) However, until then,I will continue doing whatever I am able to within my power, what the good Lord allows me to do. By helping everyone and everything that HE has created,in any way that I can! God bless ALL..
