101 Wyllas - Part Two!

Today,  we bring you part two of our 101 Wyllas.   Like yesterday, all of these images are in chronological order.  The first picture was taken in early June, shortly after she turned six months.   The last one was taken a few days ago.

I know it may seem silly to celebrate 10 months, but with this one and all the health struggles she's had along the way, every month feels like a milestone.

When she turns a year, we will, for sure, party in a very big way.

  1. Every day with our fur friends is a gift that should be celebrated and especially when they have been so fragile yet strong. She is, without a doubt, the most adorable kitten ever and her personality shows in every picture. She is as lucky to have you, Craig and Bean as y'all are to have her. Here is to many more months of celebration.

    2. Absolutely. I lost my four-year-old tabby boy a year ago today. I never dreamed I'd only get four years with him. So celebrating 10 months with Wee Wylla is not silly at all.

I still get so happy thinking that Wylla ended up exactly where she was meant to be. <3

  5. Wylla has had such an impressive life so far in her 10 months. I don't blame you one bit for wanting to celebrate every day of that.

  6. NINJA BOB!! (#64) I love that little man.

Also, #65 is hilarious -- that's when Wylla began her naughty climbing phase.

I really don't think it can be said enough, Wylla's giant eyes are just so sweet and pretty and funny.

  7. Little Wylla is such a special girl. She has so far had a life of such wonder- travel, special care, sweaters to keep warm, a big sister to follow, and a human mom who loves and worries and plans for her health and well being. It is the life ever little cat should have. Good job, Laurie and Craig. You are terrific!

  11. Not even remotely silly -- immense cause for celebration and for gratitude to the three elders who contribute so greatly to her well-being.

  12. What a sweet cat <3
My heart is all warm and fuzzy :)

  13. You can really see her go from kitten to cat/kitten!

  14. Could Wylla BE any cuter? I think not. It is fun to look through these photos and see as she changes from a tiny ball of floof to a delicate young ladycat.

    59. Read to me mommy. Read me a wonderful story about a little kitty who was very sick and who has a mommy and daddy and big floofy sister who takes of her and who lives happily every after.

  16. I love the way her eyes match the green in the blanket in pic 68! Wylla is such a little beauty, and she has the purrfect photographer to capture her essence.

  17. Outside of Maru, she may be the most photographed kitty on the planet. :-) I love looking at her photos.

  18. Yay for the ninja Bob cameo in #64.
He's an uber cool dude - as tabby boys generally are. (Yes Tdubz, nowhere near as awesome as you though).
Love, love, love that we have 101 pics of Wylla the wide-eyed beauty - she's a crack-up and a love.

Much love to you all Laurie.

  19. Of this batch of photos, 72 and 73 are capturing my heart with the silly antics of Wee Wylla (crazy eyes over the new "toys" and then that windblown look). It's good I don't have to choose permanently, and can appreciate all of the photos of this darling young lady. She so often has a pensive, dreamy look, perhaps to go with the dreamy life of love and caring you, Craig and big sis Charlene have given her.

  20. 56 - Dance, ballarina, dance!
87 - Please note your WyllaKat folds quickly and easily, making her ideal for travel.

  21. I loved seeing all the many faces of Wylla! Especially those with your parents! How proud they must be at their little furgrand's progress...Mary A

  22. I know you've answered this before, but what is her leash/harness brand? My Louie enjoys sitting out on the porcah with us with his harness, and wants to walk around, but his current leash is too heavy (it's an extra-small dog retractable one). This one looks MUCH lighter!

    ReplyDelete

    1. It is a "Come With Me Kitty" harness. I use a different leash, though.

      Delete
    2. Ok, I thought it was the same harness. Which leash do you use? Sorry for all the questions!

      Delete
    3. I don't know what brand it is - it's just a small dog leash. I looked for one with lightweight hardware.

  23. My goodness, Wylla has packed so much cuteness into the past 10 months...I can't imagine what she is capable of in the future! How great that she found her way to your family Laurie, and also to the many fans of IBKC!

  24. Love, love LOVE the silhouettes of Wylla & the Bean!

  25. I saw a fluffy owl ornament today. I thought of Wylla.

  26. Its impossible to choose a favorite photo of this girl...she's so photogenic, and every picture highlights a different aspect of her beauty/charm/cuteness. If I had to choose from this group, I really love the first one where she's fallen asleep in your arms being held upright to assist her digestion. Shows so much love and trust. Same with the pic of her asleep in the suitcase with Bean. Such a precious girl.

  27. All of the pictures are fantastic. I think #63 is my favorite as it shows the the Wylla-Bean relationship so well.

Thank you so much for sharing this trip down memory lane!

  28. I just can't pick a favourite...she ranges from cute to stunning to whimsical to hilarious...love her! Lucky kitty, lucky Bean, lucky grandparents, and lucky Laurie and Craig. <3
