Basket Surfing

That hyena in the background....it's me.

I couldn't help myself.  I bit  my tongue, I held my breath, but try as I might, I could not contain the laughs.  The scene was just too funny.

So, if you're watching this at work, you might want to turn down the volume down a hair.

Actually, you'll probably laugh out loud too.  Maybe before you hit play, make sure you're in a place where it's safe to laugh out loud.

Once you've regained your composure,  if you would like to say thanks to the kittens for the laugh this morning, please pay a visit to our FUNdraising page, and make a tax-decuctible donation.

Or share a link to this post with a friend - that helps us a lot too!

Please stay tuned, we'll be kicking off the first of our naming rights auction today!  So, if you want to get involved with that, start thinking about a good surname for this lovely little litter.

Thank you so much, friends!   Have a great Monday.

  1. Awww! It's a kitty carnival ride. Reminds of the video of cats riding a Roomba vacuum. Darling kittens!

  2. Pffffhahaha XD My Pumpkin used to do that with a laundry basket he overturned on himself, except the laundry basket didn't have another kitten on it and went zooming all over the house, upside down.

    Too, too funny.

  3. This is the funniest thing I have seen forever. OMG. The little orangey on top of the basket just can't get a handle on what is going on. I love the way he blinks his eyes when you start to laugh.

  4. So funny -- my Henry does the same thing with a card board box -- I love it when the kits invent their own toys !!

  5. that was awesome - and love that the rider just couldn't seem to figure out why he kept moving (I too was reminded of the roomba videos you see)

    1. Oh also, if I could afford it, the kitty under the basket would either be Hoover, Roomba or Sherman (for the tank)

    2. The last one is a third marmie.

  10. LOL! Yay for orange craziness!

My dear departed orange boy used to rug surf. He would take a running leap onto a small area rug in the kitchen and "surf" right to his food bowl. My current kitty does this too. wacky

  12. Giggles galore!

That is the best use for that basket I have seen yet! The next best is the 'required' litter portrait.

  13. You're right, Laurie! Fortunately, I'm at home by myself, so I didn't have to contain myself :~) But who, or what, is under that basket???

Heh, Laurie, I just saw that pitterpatsofbabycats.com is down with technical issues. Do you know of any updates on those kitties?

    Thx

    1. Really don't have anything to report. I'm sure Sue will bring everyone up to speed when everything is up and running again.

  17. Funniest kitten video ever! Thanks for the warning about laughing - I could not control myself. The expression of the little surfer is priceless! Will be making a donation as soon as I can this week. Thanks for sharing!

  18. That was hilarious and totally delightful! It was also made to torture me, though -- I was on an all-afternoon conference call, and even though I was muted I couldn't afford to take enough time away from it to watch the video. So I had to sit there all afternoon knowing that the Itty Bitties were just waiting to delight me and not being able to watch! Needless to say, the very first thing I did when I got off was watch it. Several times. :)

These kittens appear to be a very inventive bunch indeed! :)

  20. Laurie, you have an adorable giggle. The video would be half as cute without it.
