Let's Fill Some Bellies!

Today's designated donation day is for the Emergency Pet Food Bank at the Humane Society.   The Emergency Food Bank provides pet food for those temporarily in need of it.

It helps keep bellies full, but it also keeps pets with their families.    In this economy, so many animals are surrendered to shelters because their owners just cant afford to keep them anymore.   It's heart-breaking.

Having a valuable resource like the Emergency Pet Food Bank helps keep pets with their loving families and the number of owner-surrendered pets down at the shelter.     It's a win-win situation.

SO, all day long,  the money we raise will be used to stock the shelves of the Emergency Pet Food Bank.

A donation of $15 can buy a case of canned cat food.
A donation of $25 can buy a 25 pound bag of dry cat food.

Your donations today will really make a difference in the lives of many animals.

  1. I've already donated twice but I just have to scrap up enough to donate a case canned food. Emergency pet food banks are SO important in these tough economic times and for pet-people facing economic challenges at any time! C'mon everyone, chip in!
