Butterbean Birthday Pt 2
Well, it's been an exciting day around here. Charlene woke us up a little too early for a Sunday morning. I guess she was just anxious to get the birthday festivities started.
We came down stairs and released the kittens from their room. Out they dashed, eager to explore their enlarged world.
Charlene sat in the middle of the living room floor and watched the kittens run amok. They were very happy to see her, and greeted her with lots of buddy bumps as they passed by. All of their tails were bushy and vertical (except for the very tips, which were all pointed forward). This is the tail of a very excited kitten.
After about 30 minutes of running back and forth, kitchen to living room, they stopped for a quick breakfast. Then back they went to their back and forths. Charlene found a good spot to watch, on top of the back of a chair.
After an hour or so,, yes, still running full throttle, I encouraged them to return to the kitten room for a nap. I peeked in five minutes later, all were crashed in their basket.
The card pictured above was sent from Inez and Edward's mom, Marianne. How thoughtful they all are!!! How lovely they are. And what big kitties they have become!
Charlene wanted to thank all of you for the birthday wishes. She appreciates and loves all of you. Thanks for contributing to her special day.
