  1. That baby sure doesn't look like he wants to get away :)

They're so cute I just want to smoosh'em. In a good way, of course.

  2. Charlene, you are the same kind of mama I am! Give 'em to me and let me hold 'em tight! I'm having a weekend visit from my grown up people children and I feel like they are both Ruth Ann to me. Plus, I've got my kitties and dogs waiting for their hugs too.
I wish I looked like Charlene Butterbean.

  3. Aww! Very, very cute. I just want to scoop both of them up and snuggle them for hours!

Charlene, you give that little one a big hug from all us fans.

  4. I think Charlene thinks that Ruth Ann's eye color is worth keeping close by.

Miss Butterbean is so loving as a "momma" it is a beautiful thing to see

  5. Charlene is the best surrogate mommy I've ever seen :). I just love her cross-eyes in the 2nd pic - she is so adorable!

  6. Charlene, you rock! Your great big open-hearted love for the itty bitties just knocks me out.

Chanter, this is a series of four photos of Charlene and Ruth Anne cuddled together on an ottoman. In the first two, the Butterbean has her right arm draped over Ruth Anne, and Ruth Anne seems to be fine with that. In the third picture Ruth Anne has her little head resting on the ottoman as if to say, "Okay, I've had enough of this."

The last shot is a close-up, where all you see of Charlene is her two arms, chocolate brown with their white tips, surrounding itty bitty Ruth Anne, who's now got her head up and is looking right at the camera, intelligent blue eyes shining.

  7. Do you ever think maybe Charlene would like to have one of the itty bitties to stay with her as a forever baby?

  8. Oh, that is so sweet. Mummy cuddling with her little baby, love it...

  11. ..."well, mine at least until she has a proper bath!" I think the truth is, we all love Charlene as much as every single itty bitty, and then some! (Please - a little extra treat for her on our behalf?)

  13. Lucky, lucky, tiny Ruth Anne! Getting love from not one, but two, attentive adult kittehs! Miss Charlene, you certainly are a superior honorarly Auntie and setting a great example for the younguns! But don't be too possessive, Ruth Anne has a mama, you know...

I hope Miss Buelah appreciates the good lovin' her bebe is getting (mamas can be very protective). And the break from full time mothering! LOL!

  18. Awwww..so very, very adorable! Ruth Ann is going to be one awesome kitty with such training by Aunt Charlene as well as Mom Beulah! She will go to a very, very fortunate forever home!
I just wish it could be mine, but geography rules that out.

  19. You might have to keep that one.
I think it's six cats to be a Crazy Cat Lady.

  20. I think all of us would be doing exactly what Charlene is doing, if put in her position.

Still, that cat loves her some kittens, doesn't she? She's a kitten fiend.

  21. I think Butterbean intends to keep Ruth Anne.
it's going to be kitty snug at your house.

  22. Yep, I think you're gettin' another kitty... (unless Ruth is the one going with Mama Beulah). What's so bad about being a Crazy Cat Lady, anyways? All it means is that you have an extra big heart :)

If geography and an allergic husband weren't problems, I'd have snatched up that precious baby on first sight ;)

    /nuzzle the delicious babies.

  23. That's it Charlene, you tell 'em.
What a grand protector of little Ruth Ann, Charlene is. She's such a great foster Mum :D
