Kitten Visitors
Our friends love to meet our kittens, so each litter always has plenty of visitors. It's good for the kittens' socialization to expose them to plenty of people, so we always welcome guests.
My friend Maggie came by with her daughter, Alana, the other day. As you can see by the look on Alana's face, it was a morning of pure bliss. I think if she could have stayed in that chair with those kittens on her lap forever, she would have been completely fine with that! So much joy!!
My friends Sky and Violet visited the Fishkins, too. They belong to our dear friends Eileen and Matthew, and they're two of the sweetest little humans you'll ever meet.
And just like Alana, I think they would have been completely happy staying in this moment forever.
Our grown-up friends visit too.
Here's one of my besties, Katy, with a lapful of Fishkins. You've met Katy before -- she adopted Thurston and Norma Easterbrook! She loves all kittens, but I think little black ones tug at her heartstrings the most.
Thank you to all of our visitors for coming by! Sidney and Mose enjoyed spending time with you all, and so did we!

My dad sent me a picture recently, of me holding 3 kittens. They were still young enough that escaping would have been difficult, but they were too tired to try. I have a huge grin on my face. I was 29 at the time it was snapped. A lapful (or armful) of kittens is indeed a joy :D
ReplyDeleteHard to decide which picture I like better - Sky holding the Fishkins like "you are NOT taking them" or the blissed out kitten in the last picture.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Fishkins loved all the visitors as much as the visitors loved them.
ReplyDeleteAll I'm seeing is House Panthers sinking their claws into peoples' hearts.
ReplyDeleteHeart tugs for sure!
ReplyDeleteThey don't have enough toys in a couple of those pictures.
ReplyDeleteI was gonna comment too on the sad dearth of toys for those poor babies. Haha!
DeleteAdorable photos! Kids who grow up learning to be kind to animals nearly always make more compassionate decisions toward their fellow humans. It's great to see these young animal lovers.
ReplyDeleteWell these are just the sweetest pictures I've seen in a long time. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThose Fishkins are always being cuddled!
ReplyDeleteThe toy basket 'sploded!
ReplyDeleteI see no Cushions or humans were harmed.
