The Boys After Breakfast

DSC_3622

The boys had just finished their breakfast and were busy washing their faces when I snapped these photos. They're both enthusiastic eaters, so they tend to get a little messy at meal time. Thankfully, they're good groomers and always do a thorough job cleaning themselves up after they're done.

That's Mose in the photo above and below.

Sidney's on the left here, and Mose is on the right.

And after their baths, it was time for some scratching and stretching.

The curly little tail belongs to Mose.

    1. My head exploded, too! Those legs look impossibly long for such a little kitten!

  3. Sidney looks sturdier to me. His head is a little bit rounder, and his body a bit squarer. Is that a good way to tell them apart?

  6. It is fascinating to me that black kittens appear to be less common in Washington State than in Texas. Here in Austin, the Humane Society ALWAYS has many litters of black kittens. In fact, the various rescue groups often stage adoption events called "Black Tie" or something else related to black kittens, to highlight them, since they are often overlooked in everybody's rush for the other colors. I've always heard that black cats (and dogs) are the hardest to find homes for, which is sad since they are so beautiful! My own sleek black Daphne is the Very Best One (TM) of my clowder...

  7. Ack!! How can something so ordinary, when performed by two itty bitty kitties, give such joy?
