Storms Brewing, Kittens Departing, Parents Arriving

DSC_0828

It's was a busy weekend with storms brewing, kittens leaving, and parents arriving. Though things got  pretty windy around here, thankfully it wasn't as bad as they were predicting. There were some limbs down around the neighborhood, but minimal damage.  Cleo and Posey left Saturday morning, and we're down to just Enzo right now. He'll be leaving Wednesday, so we've got a couple of days left with that dear little guy.

Enzo is a different kitten without his sisters. He always seemed shy in comparison to them, but on his own, he's much more outgoing and really shining bright.  He's become cuddlier and more affectionate, and is turning into quite the little biscuit maker!

He LOVES having Wylla all to himself and when she comes close, he always starts purring. They've had so much fun chasing each other all the house, wrestling and snuggling.  He likes Charlene too, but Wylla is his girlfriend.

I'm glad we have these days just with him. I think it's been good for the little guy, and we're certainly enjoying getting to know this little delight even better.

As happy as we are spending time with Enzo, we do miss the girls. I took a squillion photos before they left, so though they're no longer here, I've still got lots left to share!

Like these.  LOOK at those dear kittens in my window.

And there's this.  Gosh,  I love their "nothing to see here please move along" faces.

  6. Glad to hear that you weathered the storm okay. Great pics! Wait, is that Enzo kissing himself in the second one? I wouldn't blame him one bit if so, seeing as how he is so adorable. Love that he had a chance to blossom a bit solo, and to spend some quality time with his girlfriend. (singsongs: En-zzo has a girrl-friend.) :-)

  8. I always love it when one of the student kittens gets to spend a little extra solo time with the faculty cats. You can tell how much they enjoy it.
