Make Your Paws Look Pretty

DSC_0610

I've got something exciting to share with you this eve! My dear pal Mackenzie of Pepper Pot Polish, has created two very special nail polish colors inspired by our very own Wylla Stout and Charlene Butterbean!

Mackenzie is a huge lover of all cats and kittens and wanted to do something to support us during our fundraiser, so she developed these beautiful colors.

Starting today and running through the end of July, she'll be donating 10% of all Pepper Pot Polish sales to our campaign. If you purchase either of the cat-inspired colors, she'll even kick in an extra bit.

This beautiful shade is called Wylla-ing The Days Away. Mackenzie describes the color as "an orange-y coral with hints of pink fire caught in the sun. I like to think of it as a retro coral, a throw back from the '60s, and the perfect color for a summer evening out."

And here we have "Cat's Pajama's" which she describes as "a light purple-y grey creme - a color that reminds me of Charlene's siamese-y fur."

I'll be buying both colors because, well, they match my cats, but also because they're so dang pretty!

I'm so happy to be partnering up with Mackenzie during our fundraiser. I love the products she creates and her integrity as a person and business woman, too.  And, of course, I love how much she loves cats.

To pick up a bottle of her IBKC-inspired shades, please visit her Etsy shop. And look around while you're there - she has many fabulous colors of nail polish as well as a line of cuticle oils and lip glosses, too!  To learn more about her Tacoma-based business, you can visit her "about" page.

Thanks for your generosity, Mackenzie!

  3. Uhoh, I think the models are a bit jealous that they didn't get their nails done as well.
