Everything Matches

Here's my theory: if everything in your home matches your cat, the cat hair never shows.

So, we're working towards that.

  1. That's a great idea Laurie! I have many different colors of kitties in my house, so it really wouldn't work that great for me. But, folks with a "normal" amount of fur babies could definitely benefit from that! :-)

    1. I agree, I have a brown tabby, a dilute calico and a black cat. I have all the colours of fur that exist.

  2. Yep, that is why my slipcovers are a lovely dull taupe. No Maine Coon floof can be seen and the mircofiber limits clawing. Of course if my beasties were Wylla's lovely colors, I'd have a beautiful sunset color palette.

  3. Beautiful Wylla! You look so lovely next to the light orange pillow!

  4. You would think, then, that I could get away with always wearing black and having all my furniture black. Unfortunately, somehow my black cats shed hair of all colors! Totally unfair!

  5. My first kitty Murf was the same color as my wood furniture. Unfortunately his beautiful orange and white floof did NOT match the carpet or the drapes or my clothes or the sofa or....

Even so, gotta love that kitty floof!

  6. And your kitties will look even more beautiful when the surroundings complement them!

I have to wonder what Wylla spied just off camera in that last photo!

  7. That is a great idea on color coordination. Martha Stewart needs to start up a brown tabby decorating line. I'm just saying...

    1. She needs to come out with lines in a number of fur colors and patterns. If she thinks she's rich now, just wait until after she helps people match furniture to pets. *G*

  8. My parents have an orange chair and a white chair. Naturally, the orange cat sleeps on the white chair and the white cat sleeps on the orange chair.

  9. I don't think the world works that way...
