Take a Seat, Wylla

DSC_2684

I got a comfy new chair for craft land, which was quickly discovered, and now is constantly occupied, by Wylla.  Orange certainly is her color, and she does look lovely sitting there, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to break that kitten's heart, when I tell her I didn't get it JUST for her.

"Wait. What? It's not mine? How can that possibly be?"

  1. Oh, I agree Wylla! How can it possibly not be her chair? A great solution to this predicament would be to get one for Miss Stout too...... :-)

  2. Excuse me, ALL things belongs to kitten! Except when Charlene is hogging the sun. My chair, my colors, my quilt, mine! But I'll share, if you ask nice and pet me.

  3. I love the chair and I can see that Wylla has incredible design sense. Oh course it is hers.

  4. Last December I saved an office chair from going into the garbage. My cat, Pepi, claimed it right away and made it hers. She loves it, I see her there often when she's not on top of the heat vent.

    1. Put the chair in front of the heat vent and voila!

    2. I would but it's next to my treadmill. If I move the chair I can't pull the treadmill down and use it.

  5. How can you say no to such cuteness?!

  6. I had to share my office chair with my cat, I ended up sitting on the edge while she got the back two thirds of the chair. And then she'd stretch and push me further forward.

    1. Me too. Buddy loves my computer desk chair. I often have to perch on the edge of the chair.

BTW, that chair is really cool.

    2. Me, three. LG likes to lie behind me on my desk chair while I work. Sometimes he uses the "guest" chair, though. :-)

And that is a cool chair.

  10. Have you tried putting an empty box nearby?

  11. Oh, meowmie. You thought that chair was yours. It looks like Wylla has decided it is hers! Sweet Wylla, the orange chair goes very well with your beautiful furs! It has a nice, soft cushion too!

  13. Laurie, hate to break it to you, but she fits, so she sits. It's her chair now. You're going to have to find another one for craft land. ;D My black cat loves my black computer chair and is skilled in curling up in adorably adorable positions that reduce the chances I'll move her so I can sit down at the computer. Her fur is such a close color match to the chair I've nearly sat down on her a few times. 0_o

  14. I'm sure she just thinks there was an ordering mix-up from her trees & treats shopping ... then this arrived! >^..^<

  15. On the bright side, she is claiming it by occupying it, and not occu-peeing it, which sometimes happens in my house. We don't like it when that happens.

  16. I got a very expensive task chair for my computer. Louie sneaks in when I am out of the room, and has managed to totally DESTROY the padded arm rests with his chewing. I hesitate even thinking about replacing them, because he would probably do it again.
