What's Your Favorite Moment of 2014?

DSC_2393_2

I thought it might be fun to do a "top ten IBKC moments of 2014" list for tomorrow, so I've been reviewing all the posts, looking at the stats, comments, and numbers of shares, and thinking about this past year.  It's been fun looking back - so much happened!

Please tell me, if you were to compile such a list, which event/moment/post/photo what would top it? I'm getting close to wrapping it all up, but would love to hear your thoughts.

 Thanks!

Oh, and Happy New Year!  You all be safe out there!  I hope your 2014 was a good one, and the year to come is even better!

  1. Ashraf adopting Delphine and Maeve! I have gone back to that post several times for a shot of pure happiness.

  2. My vote would be for Kitten Bliss. Itty bitty kitties and little red-headed girls snuggling the kitties...who could want more?

Opal, Ellis, Auctions, Art - I love those two kids. Opal the human (not Opal the kitten) and her brother Ellis pull on my heart strings with their generosity and love for the kittens. The kitten collages and paper kitties they made make me smile every time I read that post. Plus there are photos of them snuggling with the Kibblesmiths. A perfect post!

  5. The von Tussle group pictures where Malcolm goes from a smile to a grin like a Cheshire cat. I go to that picture all the time.

  6. I can't get too specific but I'd like to see:

Adoption days with the kittens wearing their gold medals.
Wylla's first time interacting with foster kittens.
Stepping out with Wylla Stout moments
    IBKC fundraising

  7. Two of my favorites (and I only looked back as far as July before I decided I should actually get some work done while at work) were Langston Von Trouble and the video of the kitty cave clown car.

  10. Stepping Out with Wylla Stout, and Charlene Butterbean showing the new scratcher that was a Christmas gift, and pretty much any moment with Wylla and Charlene! Happy New Year, Wylla and Charlene and your wonderful people!

  12. I would just like to tell you how much I appreciate this site Laurie! I (we) have lost so many "family" members this year, my Dad, our dog, our kitty and 2 weeks ago my fav sister-in-law, it has been difficult. But through all of the distress I have gone to this page and received so many smiles!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I think you would be proud of my hubs and myself - yesterday we adopted our first cat from a Humane Society!!! Al of our other family members have "found" us through various means. We did get an older kitty (5) but the way you take care of your charges has inspired us!! Thanks again!!! I wish I knew how to post Reds pic
