A little R and R!

The Pettibones came to us during our very first year of fostering.   Still to this day, they're one of the sweetest sets we've ever met!

Matt, dad to Rosalie and Renatta Pettibone, sent in a great update on the girls. First, let's take a look at the girls when they were just tiny little things.

Here's baby  Renatta!

And here's wee Rosalie!

Here's the whole Pettibone family, and one of my favorite IBKC moments.

The sisters are in good health and still very playful. They have been a great joy in my life and along the way have helped keep various dogs in line. Recently our Pomeranian Francesca passed away. During the grieving "Roverlee"- our nickname for Rosalie has been double loving us to help get us through. Renatta is fond of our pit-bull. She routinely inspects his ears and sniffs the soles of his paws to get a whiff of the great outdoors. I can't imagine life without them.

Thanks so much for this, Matt! The girls are gorgeous and we're happy to know they bring you so much joy!  We're sorry to hear of the passing of your pup. We're glad Rosalie offered you comfort - kitties can be so good at that.   Please give the girls some love from all of us.

We've got more Pettibones coming your way today, so do stay tuned!  Also,  we've got our $2500 match on the table than runs until 3:00 PM (pacific time).  $1839 left to match!  To make a tax-deductible donation and have your dollars doubled, please visit our Firstgiving page!

Thank you, friends!  We are getting so close!

  1. What a fabulous update! I adore Rosalie's 'grown-up' self. I was almost convinced she avoided the tortie quirkiness, until I saw her snuggled up with Lovely Renatta!

  2. Oh thank you, Matt! What lovely photos of your girls. I'm so glad Rosalie has been a help to you getting through the death of Francesca; that's always such a hard time.

I know I'm not the only one who appreciates these wonderful pics and the glimpse into the current lives of the Pettibone sisters.
