Pay attention, kittens, Wylla's going to show you how it's done. She's the track ball champ in this house, and she can teach you a thing or two about how this game is played.
That's so adorable! I've wanted to get a track ball game for my kitty boy but all that I've seen (so far) have had sharp edges. Can you recommend a brand that's safe? TIA
I don't know what brand this one is - I bought it at PetSmart a couple of years ago. We've had a few over them over the years, and don't recall any that seemed unsafe.
Our younger one adores the track ball. Or used to - after a full year of nearly daily use, she finally had her fill lol. I think we need to hide it for a while so it will seen "new" again :D
I picked up one on sale right after Christmas at PetSmart and there are no sharp edges. It is made by ToyShoppe. My new rescue kitty, Sophie, loves it especially at 3 in the morning!
Wow! You GO, Wylla!! I love how she patiently lets the two younger kittens have their try at it. You can almost hear the quiet throat clearing: Ahem... Now let me show you how it's SUPPOSED to be done!" :)
This toy is called Thunder Ball at my house. One time I slept in a basement bedroom and this toy was on the main floor directly above. The cat would go nuts on the track ball late at night and it sounded like thunder echoing through the basement.
Wylla needs one of these http://berganpet.com/product/turbo-track/
ReplyDeleteWow! Wylla is SO right pawed!
