Now That They're Gone
We weren't really sure how Wylla might react to Effie and Hazel's departure, but things are going just fine. She doesn't seem to be missing them too much. She hasn't been moping around the house, or looking for the kittens - things just fell back into place as they were prior to the kittens' arrival. Of course Bean is fine. She's been through many arrivals and departures before, so she knows how this all works.
We will have another batch of kittens again soon, but first we've got to get cages, carriers and litter boxes cleaned, and get ready for their arrival. We also have some family commitments, and it's best we wait until we're through with all of that before we flip over the "vacancy" sign again.
We should be ready to receive next week. The HS is bursting with kittens in need of fostering, so when we are ready, there shouldn't be any wait.
So please, stay tuned!

I'm glad Wylla is taking things so well and she gets to enjoy the sun beams (you can tell by how small her pupils are in her pretty eyes). Enjoy time with your family!
ReplyDeleteIts good to see that Wylla is adjusting well. She must be following Charlene's lead. Oh Bean, is there no end to your knowledge? :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that Wylla is doing just fine! Of course she has an excellent role model in the Bean...
ReplyDeleteGlad Bean filled Wylla in on the full picture..."and then after we teach them how to play and behave themselves, they go off to their own Mom and Dad and we chill until the next batch arrives." ;)

ReplyDeleteI wonder if Wylla's glad there's no threat to her claim on the red box. ;D
ReplyDeleteI think Wylla is thinking "they were fun little playmates, but I'm kind of glad I don't have to share my boxes anymore."
ReplyDeleteSo glad everything is going smoothly. Wylla is such a cutie and Bean has gorgeous baby blue eyes!!!
ReplyDeleteThat first picture is darling! It says 'This box is mine. All mine."
ReplyDeleteRest up ladies, there will be new kittens soon! Enjoy the peace and quiet for a little while... Looks like Bean is a great fostering role model for Wylla, I'm glad she didn't miss her first students too much. Looking forward to new litters and posts in the future!
ReplyDelete"Still got My Box. I love My Box. Oh, Box. Mine, Mine, Mine."
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the little red box will become an icon like The Basket has?
ReplyDeleteWylla and Charlene did a great job with Effie & Hazel. Enjoy your family time and thanks for sharing the girls and their charges with us!
