Sun, Glorious Sun!

Our winter days are long and gray, and the cats and humans of the Northwest always look forward to the return sunshine in the spring.

The weather this weekend was glorious, which allowed us all to spend lots of time outside. The humans worked on backyard projects, and the cats sunned themselves on the deck.

Tails were high and bushy and steps were light as Charlene and Wylla explored the deck.  After every square inch was sniffed, they flopped on the warmed deck boards and absorbed the heat.

Oh, the girls were so happy.

  1. Love the fuzzy Tock Shots! Here in CT, we had a brief visit from Spring on Sat, back to snow and temps below freezing...sigh...

  3. Bean tells Wylla: "Wylla, this is what we refer to as Spring - it is truly the most wonderful time of year"

  5. Dare I say it? They look like they could be California Surfer Girls!

  6. Dude, like, totally! :-)

This former California girl misses the sunshine and warmer weather on snowy, cold days such as this one in the Mid-Atlantic region. But I also know that better weather will come my way. Eventually.

  7. They are so pretty together. I love that they have matching floof pantaloons too. Bean's are of course size "extra-floof" and Wylla's size "extra-small".

  8. I love how Charlene just sprawls on the deck. The only things she's missing is a kitty cocktail and a copy of her favorite gossip magazine.
