A Little Bit About the Book

image

It's getting close, friends!  In less than a week, the IBKC book will be hitting the shelves, and I thought now might be a good time to give you a little peek at what you'll find on the pages.

Well, there are LOTS of kittens in it, of course. In fact, every single kitten we've fostered is pictured at least once in the book.

There are longer features on a few of our favorite litters.

We tell some of our most heart-warming adoption stories, too.

image

There are sections filled with the cutest of cute pictures on a variety of kitten topics, like napping and striped bellies.

image

There are a few kitten crafts.  My lovely assistant Wylla helped with these.

image

There's a lot of practical information on raising kittens.

A few kitten comics.

Charlene even answers questions in her very own "Dear Butterbean" column.

It's light, and fun, and though it's geared towards younger readers, it can be enjoyed by kitten lovers of any age!

It's available for pre-order now, and if you would like a signed copy, you can purchase it online through our local bookstore, King's Books.  It's also available on Amazon, and for your Kindle!

We're so excited to be sharing this with you and the whole wide world, and really, really hope you love it.

If you would like to help us celebrate the release, please join us Tuesday for the release party!  Full details HERE!

  5. I really wish I could attend but alas it isn't possible. I will have to purchase a copy from King's Books and have you sign it. I was excited to see my girls in the book. I ran home and told them "You are famous and published!!! Enid and Hester were impressed and promptly asked for treats since they are now famous.

  8. I'm definitely ordering one, not only for the adorable kitten pics but for the advice--it's been a long time since I've had a kitten around the house but I've been thinking that my adult cat needs a little companion. This book might be just the motivation I need...
