Wylla and Mrs Kitten Whisperer

My mom is quite smitten with our wee kitten.  I think I've heard her say at least a hundred times "she sure is sweet" and is already confessing how much she'll miss Wylla when they return to Iowa.

They've had lots of playtime together and some good snuggling sessions too.

I think Wylla is really enjoying having our house guests here.  So are we!

  1. Wylla is so adorable! Though I must admit that if I were captioning those pics, given her expression, my caption would be "My God--it's full of stars!" :D

  4. Laurie - were the Whisperers "cat people" all along, or did you (and Bean and the Frosts) convert them? They are lovely people. :-)

    1. We converted them. They always had dogs before.

    3. Awwww. I come from a devoted dog family but after being around Miss B, they allow as to how a kitty might be, you know, okay and stuff. :-) I can only imagine Bean has the same powers!

  9. Wow, how does Wylla do it? Those eyes. She obviously loves people, particularly her grand-people.

  11. Clearly Mrs. Kitten Whisperer has as good taste in cats and kittens as Mr. Kitten Whisperer does! You've done a superior job of converting them, Laurie. :)

  16. You might want to check their luggage when they leave to make sure they don't try to smuggle her out ;)

  18. Are you going to do a "Wylla Stout Steps Out" Grandma article? I think a little field trip with you, your mum, and your kitten would be fantastic! (and let us tag along, of course). :-) -darin

  19. Maybe Wylla could visit Grandma and Grandpa in Iowa -- and maybe I could visit. I don't know where your parents live in Iowa, but it's not that big of a state! ;-)
