Pick Up a Poster!!

DSC_0880

I picked up the IBKC posters yesterday, and I couldn't possibly more thrilled.   They are just lovely.  Boo Davis, did such an awesome job with the design, and the printer did a top-notch job too.

The posters are a three-color screen print and they're large - they measure 18" wide and 24" high.   The background is a creamy orange, of course you recognize our famous basket, and snuggled inside are Edison, Edna, Zelda and Baxter Lamm.

We printed a limited  edition of 200, each is signed and numbered by Boo.

I hope you all love them as much as I do.   I thought printing posters instead of auctioning artworks  would be an affordable way for many folks to get their hands on a piece of kitty art.  If it all goes well, we'll make this a FUNdraising tradition.

The posters are $40 each plus shipping, and we'll ship internationally.    All the profits from the poster sales will be donated to the cats and kittens at the  Humane Society for Tacoma/Pierce County.

To purchase a poster, please pay a visit to the SHOP.

  3. Again, she pleads... stickers and refrigerator magnets, if not mugs!!! These are easy enough to do on any number of sites, and if you can do it in time for this fundraiser, all the better!!! People would buy them!!

    2. There have been magnets, I think...

Personally, I keep saying "Christmas cards!"

If she did a photo shoot of her adorable kitties and her GORGEOUS crafted decorations, and printed them on stock paper and devoted half the profits to kitty charities...

Why, they would fly off the shelves in every direction!

  6. Maybe Boo can answer this herself if she's reading, or you can, Laurie.

Any particular reason she used the Lamms as her models?

Also, I went back and look through the Lamm pics, I forgot what stellar nappers they were. So funny. Nobody ever napped as good as they did.

  7. I suggested the Lamms because graphically speaking, they're pretty interesting - three light and one orange. Also, they were the litter in residence when we first started talking about the project. And everybody loved the Lamms.

  8. Thank you for this Laurie! I ordered one to put in my son's room. He's only 2 months old, but he already LOVES our cats. Unfortunately, it's next to impossible to find anything with cats or kittens on it that isn't pink!

  10. These are awesome! What a great idea. I won't be getting one this year, but I really hope you make this a tradition. I am sure these are going to sell like hotcakes.

  11. Will you be doing a reprint? They seem to be sold out already - which is great! - but a smidge disappointing :)

    2. Hm. I stand corrected - it wouldn't let me add one a few minutes ago. I got a message that "none were available." That still means they're going super fast!

  13. April, I think that people put them into their cart, but didn't check out. My inventory shows there are plenty left. If they don't purchase within 30 minutes, the poster will become available again.

i just upped the inventory, so you should be able to purchase now Sorry for the hassle.

So folks! If you put one in your shopping card, but don't intend to buy, please delete it! Thanks!

  14. I purchased one. When it gets here I'll have to decide whether to keep it or to give it to my 4-year old nephew who adores cats and whose favorite color is orange!

  16. Would love a poster, but $40 is just too much money for me to spend right now. If she makes any magnets or mugs or notecards, I'd be interested (due to lower cost).

  17. Postcard ! Postcard with this design would be great !!

  18. Nanette:

I ordered 2, 1 for me and 1 for my BFF of the past 30+ years who turned me on to the IBCK in the 1st place. Then today I had a thought: I'd be willing to pay extra for a Laurie Cinotto signature on my friend's poster since it will be a Xmas or Bday gift. What say you? (If it hasn't gone out already.)

    2. How's this: Cindy will be 54 on her next birthday. I'll make another $54.00 donation. I don't think of it as a "charge". I will let her know that it was given in her honor:)
