A Quick Match!

I just got an email from IBKC follower, Mary.  She wanted to acknowledge the incredible staff at the shelter who are working hard to help reunite pets with their families today by offering up a matching donation challenge in their honor.

For the next two hours (yes, it's a quick one) she'll be doubling your donations until we reach $300!

It's a quiet day, in the middle of our notoriously quiet week of our fundraiser, so the timing couldn't be better!

SO if you would like to take advantage of this match and  double your donation dollars,  please pop on over to our FUNdraising page and make a tax-deductible donation.

Please don't delay!  Challenge ends at 3:30 Pacific Time!!

Thank you, Mary! Thank you all!

UPDATE!   We met Mary's match! A big thank you to Mary and all the fine folks that chipped in.  I love how everyone steps up to help us meet these awesome matches.

xoxo  You all are the best.

  1. BIG bunches of thanks to Mary!!

  2. Thanks Mary for your generosity.

  3. I just wanted to point out that over on the First Giving page, it says you've now raised over $150,000 for the shelter. Yeah, yeah, I know you couldn't do it without the readers. BUT YOU CREATED THIS JUGGERNAUT SO...

YOU'VE RAISED $150,000 FOR THE CATS!!!

p.s. I just got the notice that my poster is on the way. Yippee!

    1. Thank you , Elaine : ) Actually, it's about $170K A bunch of the off-line donations and auctions aren't included in that total.

And yes! First batch left today! Oh, my there are many orders to fill!! Trying hard to get them out the door ASAP so you all can have them in your hands pronto! They are so awesome. Even better in person.

  4. Thanks all! I was at the Tacoma HS today, and it was anything but quiet. All kinds of lost dogs being reunited with their owners after a noisy night. And lots of kitties finding good homes. I volunteered from 11-5:30 and never sat down.

  5. I just wanted to say that one year ago today, we met our itty bitty kitties! Thank you Laurie!
