A Desk of One's Own

I've spent the past few days in the craft room doing a major reorganization.   My tools and supplies were all in a jumble, and something needed to be done.

Charlene likes spending time in there with me, so I wanted to free up some space on my desktop for her too.

Since the project was completed, she's been spending a whole lot of time in there on her own.  I think she's claimed my craftin' desk as her new favorite napping spot.

Good choice, Bean.  You look awfully good one it

  3. She looks lovely everywhere! And those toe gloves, oh my how sweet! I'm afraid I'd have to kiss those little while toes about a zillion times a day!
How do you keep your crafts so neat? Mine are always everywhere..

  4. Wow! At both beautiful Bean and your organization skills. May my house be next? Maybe Bean is in the craft room making kittens out of your supplies? Or toys for the next batch when they finally arrive? One last Wow to the craft room - love the decorations and of course, what doesn't look better with Bean on it, in it or around it?

  11. Charlene, you are gorgeous.

I love your skill at lounging...I am also jealous of your mom's crafting room...is Webthistle right...is that where she MAKES the kittens?

  12. I emailed you a bit back about adopting when you get a new batch. Since then, I've been become the biggest Bean fan. Are there any pictures of her as a kitten, or did you adopt her as an adult?

    1. Bean was fostered by our neighbors, and we adopted her when she was a wee one. Here she is at 10 days old. http://www.flickr.com/photos/lalalaurie/3744410266/in/set-72157594570643986

  13. I got a nice set of document trays for my desk, which my Poppy has long since claimed for her own... It gives her a good view of me and of out the window, and keeps her out of my way when I'm working.

Well, apart from once an hour or so when she'll jump down and ostentatiously sit on whatever I'm doing until she gets what she deems an acceptable amount of chin scritches.

  14. I don't think I ever knew what adorable paws Charlene has! She is such a stunner. Don't tell my cats this, but Charlene might even have cuter paws than my ladies do -- and they have very cute paws.

  15. Siamese seem to have that sixth sense of just knowing how to pose -- Ms. Bean really has it down pat !:) -- as if she's saying "Mom, I'm ready for my close up". You have inspired me to clean up my crafting act as well. All my crafting material is in plastic shoe boxes under the pine crafting table. My little ones love it under the table -- great place for hide & seek and scaring unsuspecting humans !! Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures of the lovely Charlene.
