Look who's inside the Jan/Feb issue of American Girl magazine!

The Fortunato Five!!!

It's a pull-out poster so you can pin one to your wall!    Inside, you'll also find a little punch-out door hanger with pictures of Maxine Medley and Albert Livermore.

It's on the stands right now!

  4. Oh that's cute! Did they have a little blurb about the kittens and what the story was behind them?

  7. Ohhh, I grew up with the American Girls (before evil Mattel bought them out even) and had a subscription to the American Girl mag. My worlds are colliding, and I love it!! Congrats, Laurie!

  10. Yay! They are so beautiful and it is nice to see them out in the world of print. I know the readers will love them--how can any girl (or person with a pulse) resist such beautiful kittens?

  13. As forever mom to Albert Livermore and his brother Elvis(nee Davy), can I just say, "Wow!" What an exciting day for IBKC and the kitties. I'll be getting my copy tout suite.

  19. After watching that video, I... I want to live in Laurie's neighborhood, so I can set up a chair on the sidewalk and watch the Window Kitteh Show. :)

  20. That's GREAT!! but I think Rhoda or Norman would have made for much better centerfolds, but that's just me. Still, I LOVE that itty bitty kitties of the needing forever homes type are featured! yeah for foster kitties everywhere!

  21. My only girl just turned 36, but what the heck, I can support any retailer that has pictures of the Itty Bitties! I gather they used your photos, Laurie? They'd be crazy not to, you do such a beautiful job!

And I still extra-love that bunch of babies. There's something about a litter that has a little bit of everything in it that just melts me. Such darlings!

  24. Yowza!! What fantastic news, Laurie. !!I am *so* buying this mag tomorrow.

Our niece Emma is 17 now, but when she was of AG age, we paid a visit to the flagship store in Chicago every summer. Had lunch in the tea room, attended the play, the whole AG experience. She'll be happy to hear about the Little Centerfolds, too.

  26. Marissa subscribes to this magazine, and already had her door hanger on her door before I found out these were your photos! Very cute! Were these all from the same litter? They all look completely different! She can't wait to tell her friends!
