Tender Little Bean Loves on Linus

DSC_0053

I was going to tell Peter's tale next, but I downloaded these photos of Linus and Bean, and had to share them first.

This has been a challenging batch for Charlene. Six is a lot of kittens and at times and I can tell she has felt a little outnumbered by this batch - especially now that they have gotten so much bigger.

In spite of this, one-on-one, she loves them still.

I think Linus has been her favorite. And as you can see, Linus simply adores her.

  1. Aww what a lovely pair of cats :)

I still think that Nigel would like a little mini-me kitten to keep him company...

  5. I agree with Heather -- the second picture is just wonderful. It's kitty bliss. I knew that Charlene wouldn't hold their group antics against them on an individual basis!

  6. awwww - we agree that kittens in a gang can be a bit much sometimes, but when they all fall over asleep or for one-on-one time, they can be adorable!! What a cute pair...

  15. What wonderful pictures. Charlene is SUCH a good girl - and Linus is clearly a smitten kitten.

  16. All the pics are beautiful, but the first one really knocks me over with Linus putting his head against Ms. Bean's chest - makes me think of a mother and child portrait. Ms. Bean is just the most awesome foster kitty mama EVER! =^..^=

  17. Awwwwwww...that second photo where the two of them are both melting in BIB (Butterbeaning-Induced Bliss) is a masterpiece.

  18. This is my very favorite series of photos on IBKC. I think Charlene wants to keep Linus as her own.

  21. I'm having a private debate as to which picture is my favorite. The first one gets me for little Linus's paw and the look on his face. The second one... well, the look on his face is also precious.

    We all win!

  25. I have lately got addicted to this site. I wish I didn't live on the other side of the world, I would love to adopt an itty-bitty-kitty. ._. Though I'd need a bigger home first. I already have two big kitties and one small one. :3

The Medleys are one heart-warming bunch of kittens, and I'm personally extremely fond of Linus. <3 He's such a little ball of floof.
These photos make me squeal. <3 <3

  31. Notice how, as yet, there are no denials about Linus becoming a permanent brother to Bean...
    could it be true?

  32. Bean obviously has very good taste. Linus has been my fav too. There's something extraordinary about him. I want him soooo badly.

You so need to have a IBKC widget for us to have on our computers so we can look at the babies whenever. Or, how about a kitten webcam?

  33. Wait...what happened to the two gray smudges on the top of his head? Did they go away and now he's all white?

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm still waiting for Peter's goodbye story. I'm so sad the Medley's are already leaving. It went by too fast. :(

    ReplyDelete
  35. *sigh* I can't blame you, Miss Bean.

  50. Is Charlene a Ragdoll? She is gorgeous and what an extra heart she has - would love to share her with readers on my site - www.floppycats.com

    Thanks,
    Jenny

  51. By the way, while all pics are pawsome, the second one down is the one that did me in.

  52. Anon, the gray spots have been fading. You can barely see them now.

Anon, No, we're not adopting Linus.

Jennifer, i don't think she's a ragdoll. She doesn't have that personality. More likely part Birman.

  53. The first one really needs to be on a card. Perhaps an extra-special pack of cards featuring Charlene with various individual kittens, over the years? She's so sweet with them.

  54. I have only just seen this for the first time and it is so touching a had a few happy tears! Just beautiful :)
