  6. Charlene saying goodbye, kinda sad as I have been following the progress of them. Just gorgeous though and I am sure she will enjoy your next lot.

  8. What a nice cat Charlene is!!! It has to be a comfort for little ones to see a sweet member of their own species and to get some love. Reminds me of my Mom! :)

  10. I have to wonder if Charlene's ever met a kitten she didn't like? I may have to guess no!

  11. How does Charlene deal with the comings and goings of all these little kittens? Do you think she even remembers? I don't know what is said about a cat's "remember" span...but she seems to love them all so much and then they go away...does she get sad?

  12. Anon, She never shows any sign of depression or sadness after they leave. At first, she always spends a lot of time sleeping, and then after she catches up on her cat naps, she tends to get bored.

She's been through this dozens of times now, and seems to get the whole process.

  14. Laurie - I'm so glad to hear that. I assumed she wouldn't get depressed...I suppose cats don't really have the attachment emotion that we do (anthropomorphizing is one of my bad habits). I'm glad she does well with it!! She sure does seem to enjoy the babies while she has them. Thanks for the note back! Love your site...I'm definitely addicted. Moira aka Anonymous

  16. I don't think Auntie Bean ever met a kitten she didn't like the taste of! She has a sweet tooth for babies.
