Well, It's Time For the Finches to Take Flight

DSC_0723

It's true, it's time. Our little Finches have been fixed, met their family, and are moving on. I know how hard you fell for this pair and how sad you'll be to say goodbye. They've found a very nice family, so you need not worry. They will be loved and adored.

I'll give you more details on their family later, for now, lets enjoy our last days with the dear sweet boys.

  3. That's great news! We're going to miss them of course but it's great to know they've already been spoken for. Poor Butterbean. It seems like she only gets to see each group of IBK for just a few days before they get adopted. Good luck Finches!

  4. I know you'll tell us more, but are they going together?

It's always so sad to see them go, even when we know they're going somewhere wonderful.

But it also gives us the excitement of new itty bitty kitties!!

  10. but but but... are you *sure*??
I know, you are sure and you've picked a wonderful family for them.
It's just that, you know, we were so worried about them for a while - it seems especially hard to think that they're grown-up enough to leave.

Congratulations to Walter and Ira for "graduating" and to their new family!

  11. I still want it added into the contract that periodically submitting photos of the cats is mandatory. I love seeing how they grow.

  26. These little Finches were perhaps my all time favorite, and that's really saying something since I prone to love the Tabbies that have been lucky enough to be part of your family. I took a deep breath when you said they are leaving.

Best of luck and blessings to you and the Finch boys!

  41. We know the Fnches need a loving forever home ~ so we're glad their story has a happy ending. But it's SO hard to see them go ... we will miss them.

Perhaps we'll get updates from time to time, abowt how they are progressing.

Good luck and smoochies for them.

  42. I love to see the kittens thrive under your and Beans care Laurie, they were kind of scrauny-little dirty kittehs when they arrived and now they are healthy with beautiful coats and clear bright eyes! ready to tear in to someone elses house ( and drapes and furniture and....) I am so glad they will go to a nice home, because that is the point isnt it!

  43. What a lucky family! The Finch boys are going to fill their lives with so much laughter and play and love. And Laurie, we trust you and your associates to pick the kind of family that will assure them plenty of love, care, and full kitty tummies.

  44. Goodbye little sweeties, and safe travels to you! Your new caretakers are very lucky to have you. I hope you get only the best of noms and as many sunny windows as you can handle.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I know. Thanks, Laurie. It does occur like bad news when I've been using them like a crutch.

I guess it's because there were only two of them that everyone, myself included, got so into these ones. I'm sure you feel the same way.

  46. Oh baby Finchies, much love to you...
