  2. I simply love how cats can sleep in virtually any position. That little back leg just slays me.

Happy New Year's, y'all! Be safe and happy!

  5. SO cute. I love when cats stretch all the way out like that. My cat and I fell asleep just like this last night. I adore these two sweet boys.

  13. A happy New Year and all the best of the new decade to Laurie, Craig, Drewey, Charlene and Walter and Ira! (I love those Finchies. Maybe I'm a sucker for a sob story, but their journey has made them all the more endearing. I hope that they get adopted together.)

  19. hehe I suspect your house is like mine...you will never nap without a cat. Kitties seem so proud of us when they catch us napping. It's like they are thinking "Finally these silly humans have figured out that you need to sleep MANY times a day, not just at night.

  21. Okay, now, it's even a Commandment -- "thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife", which I'm sure includes not coveting husbands, either. One of my working rules is that if something is carved on a stone tablet, it's a big deal and I should pay attention. That's just how I roll.

But if I were ever to consider or even hypothetically or theoretically contemplate coveting anyone else's husband -- which I will not -- it would be Craig. I mean, really. Handsome, manly, relaxed, AND he seems genuinely pleased to let kittens maul him. If he put the seat down, it would almost be TOO, TOO much!

    :)

Thanks for all the great images and stories in 2009. You're wonderful to share!
