Twenty Nine in 2009

Oh wow, what a year it's been. It was such a pleasure getting to know each of these 29 very special little beings, watching them grow, and seeing their personalities develop.

We had some good times , and some worrisome times too. In the end.. all was well and our happy, healthy kittens all met their families and left our nest.

Thanks for being there by our side through it all. We appreciate you so much. You are an amazing, loving, community and your supportive ways always lighten our load.

Happy New Year, friends. We wish you ALL the best, and look forward to spending 2010 with you!

Lots and lots of love and hugs,

Laurie, Craig, Drewey, Charlene Butterbean, Walter and Ira.

  1. Happy New Year to you and yours, Laurie! What an amazing community you've created within this space.
After scrolling down memory lane I've finally discovered how I hone in on a "favorite " kitten -- it's whatever little face I'm seeing at the moment. What precious babies all!

  6. We've loved them all, and you too! I tell everybody at the shelter about the IBKC, especially when our foster moms come in. They love it too! May this be another year of joy and snorgles.

  7. Oh, how beautiful they all are!

Having been nearly a year without proper internet access (new country, new home, new life!!), I've missed dropping in on the kittens. Twenty nine!

Laurie and Craig, you will surely get your reward in heaven, because there can't be anything on this earth good enough for such as you. Unless it's a schmooze from a little furry critter grateful to be surrounded by such love.

May all your dreams come true in 2010.

    Yours in admiration and appreciation,
    Lisa

  8. I just don't know how you do what you do. Just LOOKING at the photos makes me want to keep every one of these cats forever, so I can't imagine how you spend time with them, take care of them, discover their personalities...and then let them go. You must be very special people to be able to do all that, and not grow detached over time.

    Happy New Year!

  17. I love "year in review" montages in general, counting down the "top ten" whatevers for that year. This one, with so much hope, sweetness and over-the-top cute, is positively whiskers and tails above them all. Happy New Year, IBKC community, may 2010 bring even more blessings to us all.
