Hubie Doobie Do, We'll Miss You

DSC_1000
Here's our handsome little man in the loving arms of his new mama, right before he left our nest.

And if you've forgotten how tiny he was when he moved in with us, here's a pic of our Darling little boy on day one.

We'll have departure tales later this weekend, and you'll find out who went with who. Right now,,I've got some adoption paperwork to fill out. Three Darlings leave today!

  5. *sniffles*

Bye bye, Hubie. Even though I might seem sad, I'm really thrilled that you have a furever home!

Be a good boy, now! And try not to clog up the phone lines with calls from your girlfriends. Maybe your mama will let you have a cell phone!

  8. I don't know how you do it, Laurie, but the first photo is so expressive!

The new mama has a tattoo. Her hands are not young. But at the same time she's holding Hubie very, very tenderly and lovingly. I read a bit of disbelief and wonder at the fact that she's really chosen as mama for Hubie the heartbreaker and she's holding the kitten that's going to be hers to take home.

Photos like this convince us that you will only let the best of homes have your kitties - we'll miss the babies, but at least we know they will have a very good life in loving families. And maybe, if we are lucky, there are updates once ina while...

  20. Okay, the first photo decides it. Laurie, I'll pay for your plane ticket to come to our home and photograph my husband, me and our kitties. I've never seen such a tender pet portrait before. ♥ Traveling mercies, dear Hubie.
