Introductions are in Order....

Good afternoon, folks. Thanks to mentions in Snuzzy, Cute Overload and LOL Cats, we've had a LOT of new people visiting the blog. I just wanted to say hello and thank you all for coming by. In case you haven't figured out who's who yet, I thought I would re-introduce our current litter of kittens, The Darlings.

From left to right we have:
Hubie, Rhoda, Selma, Lucinda and Francine Darling. The pleasure is all their's.

I waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaant Hubie so much! *sigh* *will be content with her two sweet/annoying cats (depends on the minute) who are no longer kittens, but still darling*

The look on Rhoda's face is just priceless! Hubie is trying to play and she's just sitting there pretending its nothing!

I LOVE HUBIE!!! He is such a little rascal, look at him making faces and tormenting his sister, just like a BOY!

Ashe Mischief said...

Hubie is SUCH a little ham in front of the camera. All of the girls are all poised, and he's just a tenacious little pint.

What a stinker, that Hubie. :) If I lived near you, my two cats wouldn't be very happy when he inevitably would have to join our household. :D

HUBIE! Sit up straight - don't bother your sibs, don't yell in the house! christine

Lucinda is huge! She is so much bigger than the others, almost looks like she is from another litter. I'm sure the rest will catch up soon. Lucinda's an overachiever.

Hubie couldn't wait until the end of the photoshoot to give Rhoda a big hug!

I think the Darlings are the cutest bunch of kittens ever. I can't even stand it!

Christie said...

Hubie you little monkey! Beating up on your baby sisters seems to be a cross-species trait. :D

This made me double over laughing!!! These shots are great. What a little monster he is! :D

OMG! Hubie is such a boy! Dear little Rhoda has so much to contend with, doesn't she? Takes it like a champ!

Sam said...

Oh man, right before the first picture, I bet Laurie told Hubie a really funny joke.

Hubie's ear munch in the 2nd image is precious!

And he adds a hug too!

Joining in on the Hubie love. I'm planning to add another kitty to the household later this year, and this little guy is testing my resolve to wait!

janna said...

Oh, Hubie!! Don't annoy your sisters!

And I can't get over how much, despite their vastly different coloring, Selma and Francine look alike. They have such cute little baby faces!

Marlene said...

Ah Hubie, I'm such a big fan of you! :)

I love how Lucinda looks like she's starting to wink in the sequence ;) hihi

These shots are so cute..they certainly are all little darlings.

This site has been a constant check for me this week. I needed the cute so much..I lost my 17 1/2 year old kitty to cancer on Monday and it has been a rough week.

We am planning to add two more little furballs to our nest, but in the fall and like Andrea said, these guys are weakening me but also feeding my need for some kitty love.

Thanks for this site Laurie, what you do for these special babies is awesome!!

Here is the difference between boys and girls - no matter what species. Boys get caught when they are raising hell. Always. And usually on film.

The girls will torment the boys in the most sneaky way possible, and never get caught.

Laurie has just proven my theory in pictures!

First of all, kudos for arranging them - and KEEPING them - in a straight line.

Second, they're ALL adorable and have incredibly expressive faces.

Thirdly, I am also a kitty hypnotizer, so anytime you need one...

Of course, smetimes it backfires and it's mutual.

They are all so cute, but Selma and Francine just melt my heart...they're just so floofy and poofy and I want them to come and live with me :)

Doodle Bean said...

Wow! Lucinda really is the bruiser of the bunch!

Karen,, I'm sorry to hear you had to say goodbye to your precious kitty.

I'm glad The Darlings could bring a little light into your dark week.

xo Laurie and all the IBKs

Karen:

I am so sorry for the loss of four-legged baby.

IBKC has been such a major comfort to me after having lost my own four legged baby to cancer almost two months ago.

And thank you for sharing that IBKC has been a comfort to you so that those wonderful IBKC people know that they aren't just helping little kittens find a home, they are helping to ease the grief of those who have lost a furry best friend.

I am sure that Francine has the sweetest face, EVER!!!

melszigg said...

I love Francine! She reminds me of a marmie Norman, with that round face of hers! I want to gobble her up! And Hubie! What a character! Well, all of them are so cute. I'd love to get a snuffle in bf all those sweet kitty heads!

Deodand said...

Rhoda is America's Next Top Model. Only a pro can pose with all that stuff going on.

Em said...

How DO you get them to sit still? :)
theyre all so cute and snuggly!

Melissa said...

With the mixtures of tabby and marmie, and flat and fluffy, I'm super curious about their mama and papa kitties. The world will never know, of course, but I'm imagining a fluffy tabby mama and a smooth marmie papa. I know it could be different papas, but they all look so much alike despite the differences!

Rachel said...

I really wish I could take all the Darlings, they are just so darling. Unfortunately, the kitties in residence would veto that motion quicker than anything.
