  1. Rupert looks like a meerkat (not a mere cat, mind!) in the second picture!

  2. Ah, baby bear Rupert Ashby. Perfect. What a sweet round head, and my, what big eyes you have. On the lookout for a sibling to ambush, perhaps?

  4. "what's your name, little boy?" They asked.

    "Rupert" he whispered.

Looks like he's playing "kitty in the blanket".

  10. Red said it before I could...Rupert must have a little meerkat blood in him with all of that popping up and down. What a precious boy...

  12. Oh no.. oh dear.. here it comes...

    HEAD SPLORT!!

This is just way too much cuteness between this and the story of Ms Butterbean's birthday cake. I think I need some insulin now.

  20. Laurie, we must be on the same wavelength lately!

I just had 3 stray kittens that were going up for adoption a few weeks ago.

One was Percy (who we ended up keeping, of course) and another was Rupert! If you have a Matilda in the bunch I will fall over in shock. :)

  22. Three cheers for Rupert the Swishy,
    Hip Hip Hooray and Huzzah!
For fame he was fated the day that he traded
His chainmail shirt for a bra.
