Kittens: Always Cute, Never Helpful

kittens_on_glass

I had just removed the books, and windex-ed the top of the glass end table when the boys decided to jump up and give me a hand. Thanks, guys.

Hovering Asbys! Too cute! You have your own Clean Squad to supervise your work. You so lucky.

Such adorable little helpers! I'd cherish a table top covered in perfectly preserved itty bitty paw prints.

Whatcha doing Mommy? Can we see the big kitty again? She looked nice!

Kalieris said...

Hahaha - look at those earnest little faces. I think the entire purpose of glass-topped tables is to capture feline toe-prints. (And serve as a means of taking extremely adorable feetsie pictures.)

But but but....we like the table covered in kitten prints! Why did you clean it?

Cute lil faces....no one could be mad at them.

Honeibee said...

OMG but the TOES! I just wanna kiss 'em!!!

Junior and Orion said...

They just needed to leave their pawprints on your nice clean glass.

Sarah in T-town said...

I don't see the problem, just some really cute kitten bellies!

Putting their beautiful footprints on tha glass.... :-P

I have fallen over from the cuteness, I mean really. That is just too much. the little feets, the chubby bellies, and the smirks on their faces. Awesome shot, can't wait to see them grow up.

Awwwwwwwwwwww...

Chanter, the two blackish kittens are perched on top of a round glass table, with paws and bellies pressed close to it. They're peering down at the camera in some curiosity, probably because they're still not used to the idea that they're internet stars. One of them looks a bit skeptical, while the other has his head tilted a bit, as if wondering just how the funny box thing helps them help resmudge the table.

Hyacinth said...

That little head-tilt just melted my heart...and the toes, oh, the teeny tiny toes...too much cuteness!

Ok, I can't get any work done because I keep coming back to look at the cute pictures on here of these guys - and now there are more! They are all so adorable! I like that the one on the left looks inquisitive and the one on the right looks a bit mischevious with that serious look on his face. Always wonder about the serious kittens - they are probably planning something!

Lonni said...

NEVER helpful??? You better put those kitties to work! Train them to sit on your feet in the winter. Toasty...

omg - so cute and curious!

The bear cubs check it out.

My mom taught me a rhyme that seems applicable here:
"Some kind of help is the kind of help that helping's all about.
And some kind of help is the kind of help that we can do without."

Of course, on second thought, housekeeping *is* loads more fun with such floofy assistance.

Must resist adorable head-tilting kitties! Must resist!

How do you ever get anything done around your house with all the cuteness to distract you? I'm awed.

I seriously love love LOVE this photo! Gonna make it into a card that says "Just saying hello!" ? Cuz that would be nifty!

KatBoxJanitor said...

The little questioner looks like her is asking "Whyfore you doing that?"

The pawprints are a necessary safety marking! Without them a poor kitten might not know they are approaching the edge of the glass surface!

Awww, such adorableness!
