Lean On Me

Take the picture, please. We can't hold this pose much longer. Thankyou.
This picture was taken just a couple of days after the LaBath Ladies moved in. They were such babies then!

  3. Miranda has that same "one-toe-dipped-in-ink" affect that Georgette has. Just precious.

  5. I never knew Hester has a stripe on her chest.

How adorable it is along with that crooked nose blaze of hers.

    Thanks!

  8. There isn't a word for how beautiful these two are.

I've had to say goodbye to my lovely cat this week (she finally gave in to hepatic lymphoma) and the IBKC has managed to raise a smile every day when nothing else could. Thank you so much!

  10. Lisa - please know that there are so many of us who empathize with what you're having to deal with. Thank goodness for the IBKC's and their ability to always make us see the sweetness in the animals we love. My heart goes out to you.

  11. Lisa,, I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. I'm glad the LaBath girls can give you a smile during this sad time.

Take good care, Laurie and the IBKC

  12. They are so so so sweet! I would love another kitty in my house. Unfortunately my complex has a 2 pet rule :( I miss the little kitten stage where they are so delighted at everything. My Jack is at the "meh" stage where everything bores him. Katia at least is still enchanted by most goings on.

  13. Such perfect little girls! And to little! My how they've grown...

Lisa, our tears and prayers are with you. So sorry to hear of your loss. Some days I think we should call this the Itty Bitty Therapeutic Kitty Committee. I hope these angels lift you even a wee bit.

  14. Oh, Lisa, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. It's hard to give them up, especially when we've given them so much love and gotten so much love from them.

Chanter, Hester Sue and Miranda are sitting up, side by side, looking like they're attached along that one side. Imagine a buddy movie, western, action, whatever, in which the two leads are prepared to fight it out, side by side. They're both wearing their best "Nobody better mess with MY sister" expressions.

Of course, knowing the lifestyle of the itty bitties, they're probably really plotting how to get that wonderful climbing tree out of the closet, but hey, a little extra dramatic attitude never comes amiss with a cat.

  15. Lisa - I am so sorry. It is so hard to say goodbye. My warmest thoughts are with you, and I hope you will find a new furry friend to fill the void.

Laurie - if you ever make a LaBath card pack, this photo should definitely be in it!

  16. Ooh, yes, LaBath cards, please. :)

Darling photo as always, and a real pick-me-up during the workday. :)

  21. Lisa, your sadness is felt all around the country and across the seas too. I hope that somehow, with so many of us caring for you, that it can be a bit less hard. We know.
Darling Bernadette Mayfield and beloved Jerry Lee Pickett, as well as all those babies we groupies have lost, are holding your kitty. And we are holding you.

I'm missing Muddle a lot, so I keep coming back to look at the IBKC cuties - they're a balm to the soul.
