DSC_1726

I don't know,, there's just something about those dark, dashing tabby boys that make me weak. Edward Loomis Davenport, you're no exception.

  4. It's the whisker freckles. Either that or the tabby eyeliner.

  7. Edward is a serious cat. Being a dashing tabby is a serious business.

  8. Mr. Darcy indeed, Holly. Pardon me for saying this, but I think he's more handsome than most other tabbies. Perhaps it's the intellectual look he's had since the get-go (although I doubt an intellectual would say, "get-go", maybe "onset".

  9. For me, it's that tiny little nose. Pink in the middle, surrounded by black, set in a beautiful brown-white-and-black fur coat. So kissable.

  10. Its the solemn eyes offset by the nose leather liner that got me.

He is contemplating many serious kitty theories...I hope his family will listen once he decides to discuss them!

Chin skritches for Edward Loomis Davenport.

  11. LOL, Spatula, yes it is a serious business indeed.

And Holly, yes, he should definitely play the serious Mr. Darcy. He'd be a great successor to Colin Furrrrth! ;-)

(I know, that was really bad!)

  13. Edward Loomis Davenport - you are awesome! Your mien so serious - I think there's a playful young kitteh underneath all that. I wonder what happens when scritches & snorgles happen? Do you stay so serious then?

  14. Oh, my, what a wonderful photograph! It's designed for swooning. An intense headshot with Edward learning forward, looking very intense.

I can just see kittens sitting in the student cafeteria, huddling over Tabby Beat, seeing this photo with an interview in which he says that he loves chasing feather toys, napping with his siblings, and licking his front paw. The bell for the next class rings and the kittens go back to class, scribbling "ELD Furever" on their notebooks.
