Itty Bitty Emi Committee

emi art
I just recieved the most precious gift last night. Emi, whose family adopted Penny and Pierre from the original IBKC litter, created this darling sculpture of Charlene and LeRoy for me. I simply adore it and I will treasure it a lifetime. Thank you Emi!!

I also wanted to wish a happy birthday to Penny and Pierre who just celebrated their one year birthday! It's hard to believe our very first babies are that old. I get the occasional update from Emi and her sister Abby. It sounds like they have grown up to be wonderful cats. I'm sure it's because they get so much love from Emi, Abby, and the rest of their family.

  1. How sweet! If they send you updated pictures, please post 'em -- I was just reviewing their cute little baby lives, thanks to your archives. I'd love to see how they've matured.

  3. Wow. That is indeed a treasure. Such a thoughtful gift, and I can picture it taking a place of honor among the other works of art in your lovely home.

Also, a fitting tribute to the amazing Charlene Butterbean, who works tirelessly as a loving member of the IBKC to give the babies the best possible start in life.

  5. It looks just like Charlene! Emi is quite the talented artist.

Penny and Pierre are so lucky to have Emi, Abby and the rest of the family to take care of them. They were such cute kittens. Pierre was so photogenic. I've always loved that picture of him in the pansies.
