Don't Worry Charlene ! We're on Our Way Home !

cooling her belly on the linoleum

These three weeks have just flown by! We've had such a marvelous time here in Australia, it will be sad to say goodbye. I am looking forward to coming home, but NOT looking forward to the winter we left behind. Of course I can hardly wait to be reunited with Drewey and Charlene. Hopefully they won't be too angry with us. Drewey always gives us the cold shoulder when return from traveling. Just for a little bit though. I'm not sure how Charlene will react. Nicholas emailed yesterday and said she had broke her feather toy. This is major. She LOVED that toy. Otherwise,,, everyone is doing just great. Kim has been coming over to play with them too, so I know they are getting lots of love and attention.

So, we will be home soon. As soon as we get settled back in,, we'll go get us some babies ! Soon.... very soon.

  1. Travel safe home, dear ones! I'm sure Charlene & Drewey will be happy to see you (although Othello of blessed memory welcomed us home once by looking us straight in the eye and pissing on the Hudsons Bay blanket....) but I'll be glad to know you're tucked in home, and by the way - thanks for the tidbits while you're away! (Hope you tell us about the trip some too!) LOVE YOY....

  3. If can't find a feather toy replacement for Miss Butterbean and you have a photo of Charlene's feather toy, you should publish it and we'll all be looking for a replacement for it while we catch up on C & D, news of the trip, and wait for the next batch of IBKs.

  5. Have a good and safe trip home!

I'm sure that Drewey will relent once you've been Put In Your Places. :-)

  6. Of course your kitties will let you know that they missed you terribly by looking at you and then turning away and scampering off to some unknown portion of the house. Zoe was famous for that. The eye contact--then you would take a step towards her--then she would vanish. Broke your heart, I tell ya'! She'd always come out after a short while, but her point had been made. Welcome home!!

  9. I hope that, when you get back and have time, you can convince the people who now have your babies to send in pictures of them as they grow. Everyone in my office has seen pictures of the babies and want to know what they look like now. Thanks for all you do, and hope you had a lovely vacation!
