How About a Little Bit More for the Pet Food Pantry!

We've still got a couple more hours left to give to the Pet Food Pantry, so I wanted to share a little story about a generous young gal who has been helping the pantry out.

This is Danika – Each year Danika would help her mom deliver holiday food baskets to families in need. In 2015 she was helping a family carry their goodies out to the car and noticed they had a pet. That’s when she told her mom she wanted to help families in need feed their pets.

Danika collected food and money to support the shelter’s Pet Food Pantry over the course of a few weeks, and everyone was surprised what a difference this young person was able to do to help pets in need in our community. Danika, and youth like her, give us all hope for the future in creating a more humane community!

I love that she recognized this need and took action. I hope you choose to do the same by making a donation to help fill the shelves of the Pet Food Pantry.

Thank you!
