Spots and Stripes FOREVER!

I know I usually introduce a new litter one kitten at a time,  but since this set arrived, it's been a non-stop wiggly blur of spots and stripes! One big torbie/tabby ball!  They seem to function as a unit, so that's how you'll meet them!

Here's the whole new brood!

It's been a long stretch since our last batch, and last night I was trying to decide if these four just seem extra cute because it's been so long since we've seen kittens, but after surveying a few local kitten experts, we've decided that they ARE, indeed, extra cute kittens.

JUST LOOK AT THIS!!

I MEAN, REALLY!!!

OH, did I mention that they are ALL GIRLS?  They are!!

And knowing this, doesn't make them even CUTER?

Oh Gosh, and then there's this.

So, tomorrow we will begin introducing them individually and we will share the names.  Right now, I need dash off and do a little house cleaning. These four rambunctious girls trashed their quarters last night, and I've got a big mess to deal with!

AREN'T THEY CUTE??????!!!!!!!!

    1. They all have some pretty distinctive marks, and when you see them individually and not in a puddle, they are easier to identify!

  6. O.M.Goodness, WOW! Thank you for the group pics - what a treat. They look like my Daltrey, a very prissy little 15 year old, when she was a baby. How wonderful! Love,Darin

  7. Can I suggest the name Mary for one of them? My beloved cousin Mary passed away two weeks ago and she adored cats. ♥ Beautiful litter! :)

    1. I'm sorry you lost someone so special. All the girls do have their names assigned, I just haven't announced them yet. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll put it on the list of potential kitten names.

  23. Laurie,
Except in situations where you've raffled off the right to name a kitten, do you wait to see them and then come up with a name or do you have names "waiting in the wings?"

    1. I have a list of potential kitten names, and with every litter I usually pull a couple of names off of it and then do some research to find the rest. Because I try so hard to match the perfect name with each kitten, the whole process is quite lengthy.

  30. Laurie, first, they are absolutely adorable!!!! I'm wondering, are these little girls a little older than the kittens you've fostered in the past, or has it just been a long time since we've seen such adorable ones?

  31. They're not the youngest, but not the oldest either.

  33. Will Bean be okay with tabby girls, or are tabby boys her top choice? (Litters with such similar markings on all siblings are unusual, aren't they?)

    1. She likes all kittens.

      They're all distinctively different.

  34. I'm back in town and catching up with posts after a trip to visit family and friends on the West Coast (well south of IBKC territory). How delightful to see that a tabby group is in house. LG was a rescue and was no longer an itty bitty when we met him. He was on the streets as an itty bitty and there aren't any photos documenting his kittenhood. Seeing pics of groups like this helps me imagine how his itty bitty self looked back in the day.
