In Love with a Rug

I keep the kittens out of our guest room, but the other morning while I was carrying a laundry basket into the room, Ernest dashed past me and slipped inside.

When his toes touched the fuzzy rug at the foot of the bed, he stopped in his tracks, dropped, and started rolling around in a complete state of bliss.  Many biscuits were made and purrs were purred.

Seeing the joy this rug brought this boy, I decided to bring the rug out to the living room for all to enjoy.

It's a huge hit with all, but Ernest loves the rug the most.

  4. So adorable! You never know when biscuit-making opportunities might arise. One time my fluffy terry bathrobe fell off the door hook and onto the floor. LG was on it and making biscuits in no time.

  5. Is there a cuter cat behavior than kneading? I'm not sure there is.

  6. I'm sorry about this, but I think you now have to send that rug home with Ernest - it might break his little heart to part with it.

    1. You’re exactly right, bethann. We know fostering is expensive Laurie, but it just got a lot more so with the loss of Ernest’s rug.

My kitties love fleece (feels so good for the toes). I love seeing that state of trance.
