Pinned By Kittens

I'm having a hard time preparing this post because I've currently got a kitten draped over each wrist, one my shoulder,  and a wiggly one who keeps walking across my laptop keyboard.  Henrietta is the wiggly one and I just had to delete three lines of umlauts thanks to her.   She also paused long enough on the "delete" key to throw about thirty photos into the trash. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve them before they were lost for good.

Because I'm pinned by kittens, Wylla and Charlene just took advantage of the moment and tiptoed towards the kitten room for some crunchies.  I yelled  when I saw them heading that direction, they're so obvious when they're trying to be sneaky, but they ignored me. They did pause for a moment, Wylla  glanced in my direction, but did not make eye contact with me. She knew she was being naughty. She knew I knew. She knew I wouldn't get up and try to stop her, but I did yell again.

"Don't think I don't know what you two are up to!"

Two swishy tails waved goodbye and disappeared into the hall.  As I type this, I hear crunching.

Come treat time this afternoon, I will remind them of this infraction.

I've got a set photos to share of our Hollis Girls being awfully adorable and sweet. They love getting cozy on the couch and burrowing into the throw pillows, and they look pretty cute doing it!

  2. Any time one of my babies gets on my lap, or wherever, I won't move a muscle. My appendages have fallen asleep more than the babies. :-) And shame on Bean and Wylla for taking advantage of you like that! What naughty girls, they are!

  6. So Commander Beanie and Lt.Wylla's nefarious plan worked!
Activate Kitten Floppage on Mom = free crunchies! Love it!

  7. So cute! LG is very impressed with Henrietta's umlaut-typing ability and would like to know how to do that. He generally types strings of unaccented letters and numbers when he is keyboarding. He does know how to delete files, though, so he's good there. (The little dickens.)

  8. I suspect by the time treat time rolls around the ladies will have developed a case of selective amnesia regarding the infraction...but good luck trying :-)

  12. Your description of the crazy cats in your house is hilarious.

I had to buy a glass-topped desk with a sliding keyboard tray so I can uncomfortably type (but still see the keyboard if needed) with the tray slid in so my cats can't constantly edit whatever I'm writing. I haven't figure out a way to keep the screen clear though (my big black cat likes to sit in front of it, blocking at least half). It's a good thing I'm a pretty good touch typer!

  13. Transient Feline Paralysis strikes again, with associated typing difficulties. Perhaps someday medical science will have a cure for this condition, but researchers don't seem to be putting much of an effort into curing it, and, most bafflingly, "sufferers" don't seem overly interested in being cured. I wonder why that is. ;D Enjoy the Transient Feline Paralysis while it lasts.
