A Quick Match In Honor of Three Special Cats

Good Afternoon! I've got a matching donation challenge for you this afternoon.

Lisa and Stuart are big cat lovers, and follow our blog as well as Love and Hisses, another fostering  blog. I'm guessing that most of you know all about Love and Hisses already, don't you? If not, please pay them a visit.

Robyn and Fred, the humans on the cat ranch, lost three of their permanent resident cats Sugarbutt, Miz Poo and Corbiet, all within a few months of each other this year.   Lisa and Stuart wanted to honor these three dear cats by offering up a $300 matching donation challenge.  They've also made a donation to the organization Robyn and Fred foster for, too.  How thoughtful and generous.

Lisa and Stuart will be matching each dollar we donate until we reach their $300 cap, or until 7:00 PM Pacific Time, which ever comes first.  That gives us three hours to get there, and even though it's quiet around here on Sundays, I think we should be able to meet this match.

To make a tax-deductible donation and have your dollars matched in honor of Sugarbutt, Miz Poo, and Corbie, please visit our Firstgiving page.

Thank you for your generosity, Lisa and Stuart. And thank you to all who help us meet this match.

We're sorry for your loss, Robyn and Fred. We hope your hearts are on the mend.  Thank you for all the good work you do.

UPDATE: We met the match! Thanks to all who helped us get there! And thanks to Lisa and Stuart for offering it up!

Of course, you can continue to donate! Your dollars won't be turned away!!  You can also donate to their shelter, too

  1. This is such a lovely tribute! I was so sad about Miz Poo, Corbie and Sugarbutt -- gave to Challenger's House, too. Thank you, Lisa and Stuart.
